대구 동성로 망향비빔국수

돈까스, 수제비, 잔치국수, 비빔국수, 손만두

항상 미리 밝히는 거지만

전혀 어떤 후원을 받지 않았고

순수 제 돈을 쓴 후기만을 올리고 있어요.

지난 11월 11일에 대구 동성로에 있는

망향비빔국수에 점심을 먹으러 갔어요.

Last Sunday, 11th November, I visited Manghyang-BibimGuksoo, the noodle restaurant,

at Dongseongno, Jung-gu, Daegu, South Korea

to have lunch.

시누이가 길을 지나가다 여길 보고선

수성구에만 있는 줄 알았다며 여기 맛있다고 하시더라고요.

My sister-in-law spotted this restaurant in her way,

and she told me this restaurant serves good meals.

She also said, the branch of this restaurant is also located in Suseong-gu, Daegu.

Look at the menu on the wall.

You should pay for the meal when you order at the counter.

전 비빔국수, 사막여우는 돈까스

시어머님은 메뉴에는 없지만 수제비, 시누이는 잔치국수를 주문했어요.

그리고 만두를 하나 추가했죠.

I ordered Bibimguksu which is noodles with hot sauce and ￦6,000.

My husband ordered Pork cutlet which is ￦7,000.

My mother-in-law  ordered Sujebi which is cooked with sea mustard, rice balls and ground perilla seeds.

My sister-in-law ordered Janchi-guksoo, Banquet noodles.

And we ordered Mandu(￦3,000) which is Korean dumpling.

육수는 야채수를 쓰고

유산균이 많이 들어있어 좋다는 것 같네요.

전 육수는 좀 가리는 편이라
잘 안마실 때도 많은데
이곳 육수는 맛있어서 두 번 갖다 마셨어요.


On the wall,
it says this restaurant cooks food with vegetable stock,
which they make themselves.

You can think vegetable stock is the same with vegetable soup.

Also, in vegetable stock called Yuksoo
there are much lactic acid bacteria, it says.

육수는 저렇게 마음껏 떠다 마실 수 있어요.

정수기 옆에 음료 판매 냉장고가 있었는데

탄산음료와 아이들 음료가 들어있더라고요.

1500원이었어요. 가격 참고하세요.

You can get Yuksoo from the jar attached yellow paper.
But, be careful it's toooooooo hot.

You can get soda things for ￦1,500.

육수예요.

너무 뜨거운데 따르다가 튀어 손을 델 뻔했어요.

아이들에게 시키지 말고

반드시 어른이 가져다 드셔야 해요.

It's Yuksoo.
Pouring in my cup, I almost burnt my hand.
It is really hot.

메뉴가 쪼로록 나와서 찍었어요.

위의 것은 수제비인데

수제비라기보단 옹심이 미역국이 정확한 이름인 것 같아요.

수제비는 없고 옹심이가 많이 들어있었거든요.

어머님께서 굉장히 좋아하셨어요.

들깨가루가 들어 있어서 구수했어요.

Upper soup is called Sujebi, which was for my mother-in-law.
Ordinary Sujebi doesn't look like this.
It's totally different food.

I'm sure it's Ongsimmy Miyukguk, Sea mustard rice ball soup.

Riceballs are very chewy.

My mother-in-law liked this soup very much.

잔치국수도 나왔어요.

전 어려서부터 잔치국수를 너무 많이 먹어서

질려서 아예 맛도 보지 않았지만

잔치국수 굉장히 좋아하는 사막여우가

시누이 것을 거의 다 뺏어먹었어요.

정말 맛있다고 하더라고요.

그때도 잔치국수 시킬 것을 후회하더니만

지금도 물어보니 다시 가면 무조건 잔치국수 시킬 거래요.

It's Janchi-guksoo, Banquet noodles.
I'm sick of this food because I ate these noodles so many times when I was young.

Anyway,
My husband ate it almost although it was not his.
He said it was really tasty.

제 비빔국수 나왔어요.

꽤 매워요.

그렇다고 어마어마하게 매워서 못 먹을 정도는 아니고요.

입안이 얼얼해질 정도로는 매웠어요.

비빔국수에 들어있는 야채를 굉장히 좋아하는데

제 기준에는 조금 적게?? 들어있어서 아쉬웠어요.

I like spicy food.
This is Bibim-guksoo, spicy noodles.
It was pretty hot.

But it was also tasty for me.

사막여우의 돈까스가 나왔어요.

정말 제 시점에서 그대로 찍은 바람에 사진이 돌아가 있네요. ㅎㅎ

근데 아이폰으로 찍어서 확장자 바꾸려면 귀찮아요;

그냥 이렇게 생겼구나~하고 보세요.

It's Pork cutlet.

몇 조각 먹다가 급히 찍어 봤어요.

고기가 두툼~하게 들어있고요.

소스는 카레라기보다는 하이라이스 소스 약간에

돈까스 소스랑 땅콩 넣고 각종 야채 넣고 만든 맛이었어요.

많이 자극적이지 않고 맛있어요.

I guess this sauce may be made with some kind of brown sauce and peanut.
It's not that stimulating.

전 다음에 가면 돈까스도 좋고 비빔국수도 좋아서 고민할 것 같아요.

만두가 나왔어요.

3000원이다보니 딱 4조각 나오네요.

만두도 맛있었어요.

비빔국수에 만두! 환상의 조합이었죠. ㅎㅎ

많이 먹을 수 있는 사람이라면

비빔국수에 돈까스도 좋을 것 같아요.

It's Mandu, Korean dumpling.
It's for ￦3,000.

I love eating Bibimguksoo with Mandu.

If you can eat much,
 I recommend Bibimguksoo with Pork cutlet.

메뉴 중에 비만세트가 있었는데

비빔국수+만두 였고, 7000원이었나?? 그랬던 것 같아요.

아마 만두가 2개쯤 나오는 거겠죠?

They sell Biman set, which means
they sell Bibimguksoo and Mandu combination.
It's for ￦7,000 or so.

만두 한 입 베어물고 찍어봤어요.

속이 꽉 꽉 들어차 있고

정말 맛있었어요.

왕만두 사이즈는 아니고 

3살 아기 주먹 크기 정도 되는 것 같아요.

I  grabbed a bite.
Mandu is made with ground pork and vegetables.

It was delicious.
Its size is like a baby's fist.

먹고 나오는 길에

소화도 시킬 겸 롯데백화점 쪽으로 걸어가며 구경하고 있는데

공원 근처에 이렇게 소녀상이 세워져 있더라고요.

On my way home,
I saw these statues, which are for Japanese Military sexual slavery.

지하철 중앙로역에는 

2003년 2월 18일에 발생했던 대구 지하철 참사를 겪은

기둥들을 보존하고 있었어요.

기둥 위에 적힌 글자들을 보며 마음이 아파

사진 찍을 생각을 못하고 지나쳐 왔는데

지금 생각해보니 사진을 찍을 걸 좀 아쉽네요.

And in Jungangno subway station,
there are two or three columns,
which stood at the time
when the station was struck by really big fire.

I forgot to take photos
because I felt very sorry when I saw them.
They still blacken and have some words on them.

인간은 망각의 동물이라고

세월이 지나면 잊기 마련이겠지만

그래도 잊어야 할 것과

절대 잊어선 안될 것은 구분해야 하는 것 같아요.

Although humans are animals for forgetfulness,
we should distinguish what we mustn't forget from what we can forget.

맛집 포스팅이었는데

점심을 먹어야 한다면
