지난 주에 친구 결혼식이 있어서 전라도에 다녀왔어요.
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending my friend's wedding in Jeolla-do.
순천에서 친구가 결혼을 해서
The wedding took place in Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do,
결혼식이 끝난 후 순천만 국가정원을 둘러봤지요.
and after the beautiful ceremony, we decided to explore the vast Suncheonman National Garden.
순천만 국가정원은 너무너무 넓어서
As the garden is truly wide,
고작 두어시간으로는 절반도 채 구경하지 못했어요.
with only two or three hours to spare, I was only able to enjoy a fraction of it.
다음에 꼭 다시 가봐야겠어요.
However, I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I can take in more of its beauty.
저녁을 먹어야 하는데
After our garden adventure, it was time for dinner.
차를 타고 식당을 찾아 이동하자니 아는 곳도 없고 해서
Being in an unfamiliar place, I felt a bit uneasy about finding the perfect restaurant.
그냥 눈에 보이는 대로 들어갔어요.
In the end, I simply walked into the first one I came across.
우리 꼬맹이들이 양념갈비를 좋아하거든요.
My sweeties have a penchant for Galbi, the mouthwatering Korean BBQ dish.

There are some challenges with the menu display.
저흰 돼지양념갈비를 먹었어요.
I ordered Yangnyeom-Galbi, a delightful pork Korean BBQ.
1인분에 200g이기에 3인분만 시켰어요. 저흰 별로 배가 안고팠거든요.
Each portion is 200g. As my husband and I weren't famished, we opted for three portions(600g).
애들이 너무 배고파 해서 밥도 같이 시켰어요.
My little girls, on the other hand, were quite hungry, so I ordered rice for them at first.
In the typical Korean dining style, meat usually comes before rice or cold noodles.
저희는 물냉면과 비빔냉면을 시켰죠.
My husband and I decided to enjoy Mul-naengmyeon and Bibim-naengmyeon respectively.
된장찌개는 따로 안시켰는데 사장님께서 서비스로 계란찜과 콩나물국을 갖다 주셨어요.
Surprisingly, the owner treated us to complimentary steamed eggs and bean sprout soup.
저도 콩나물국 잘 끓인다고 자부하는데
I take pride in my own bean sprout soup,
이곳 콩나물국은 정말 환상적이었어요. 여태 이런 맛을 먹어본 적이 없어요.
but I must say, this one was exceptional - the best I've ever tasted.

You must give it a try when you're in the area.
애들 먹이느라 사진을 많이 못찍었어요.
Capturing photos was a bit challenging as I needed to feed my girls,
근데 이 집 갈비도 정말 맛있었어요.
but let me tell you, the Galbi was nothing short of fantastic.
고기가 사르르 녹더라고요.
The meat seemed to melt in my mouth, and it was a truly delightful culinary experience.
다음에 순천만국가정원에 다시 가게되면
그때도 무조건 이 집에서 밥을 먹을 거예요.
I've made up my mind that the next time I visit the Suncheonman National Garden, I'll be having a meal at this restaurant.
