Chapter3. 둘째날 - 아사쿠사에서 기모노 체험
Chapter 3. The 2nd day - Try on Kimono at Asakusa
안녕하세요!
도쿄에서의 둘째날이 밝았습니다.
Hi there!
It was the second day in Tokyo.
이 날은 아사쿠사에 가서
기모노 체험도 하고
친구도 만나기로 한 날이었어요.
On that day,
We were gonna go to Asakusa
and try on Kimono, Japanese traditional costume
and meet my friend and her family.
기모노 체험을 미리 한국에서
예약을 하고 갔었기 때문에
시간 맞춰 가기 위해 서둘러야 했죠.
We had to hurry up
to go to the shop in time which would lend Kimono.
I booked it from Korea in advance.
그래서 이동에 시간이 얼마나 걸릴 지 몰라
아사쿠사 역에 가서 아침을 먹기로 했어요.
I didn't know how long it would take to get to Asakusa from the hotel.
So I planned to have a breakfast near Asakusa.
고은이 아침을 먹이긴 해야겠고
주문하고 나오는 시간까지 생각해보니
느긋하게 먹을 여유가 없을 것 같아
아사쿠사 역에서 나오자마자
데니스가 보여서 그리로 들어갔어요.
We went to Denny's to have a breakfast.
아침 메뉴였던 것 같아요.
그래서 그냥 보이는대로 시켰어요.
일본 가정식이에요.
They serve a Japanese home cooking.
빨리 나오라고 고은이 거랑 같은 걸 시켰던 것 같아요.
I ordered the same menu with my daughter's to be served quickly.
미소된장국에 밥,
김과 낫토, 베이컨, 계란후라이, 샐러드였어요.
Japanese miso soup, rice
Japanese laver, natto, bacon, fried egg and salade.
음식이 나왔을 땐
이미 너무 시간이 촉박해져서
먹는 둥 마는 둥 대충 먹이고 나왔어요.
When the meals were served,
we didn't have enough time to eat,
so we gobbled some and left the restaurant.
기모노 갈아입기 위해
기모노를 고르고
옷과 짐을 보관할 가방을 받았어요.
25번 번호표를 잘 가지고 있다가
나중에 짐 찾을 때 줘야해요.
In Kimono shop, I chose which one to wear.
And I received a numbered bag.
It was for keeping my stuff.
기모노를 입는데
허리에 어마어마한 양의 수건을 끼워 넣으셨어요.
Two women helped me to wear Kimono.
They put a lot of towels between my waist and a belt thing.
악세사리도 빌려주셨어요.
아사쿠사에 입장하고,
메인 거리에 사람이 너무 많아
살짝 골목으로 들어가서
고은이와 한 컷 찍었어요.
When we walked down on the Asakusa main street,
there were lots of people.
So we found a calm alley and took a picture of us.
아사쿠사에는 기모노 체험하시는 분들이 많아요.
그런데 기모노 입은 애들은 없어서
외국인들이 고은이를 보고
같이 사진찍자고 하시고
고은이한테 인사하니까
날씨도 덥고
왠지 주목 받으니 부끄럽고 해서
고은이가 더 움츠러 들었어요.
표정이 아주 안좋아요.
Many foreigners wanted to take a picture with my daughter
because there were lots of people wearing Kimono but there wasn't a child wearing one.
It was terribly hot and
she got ashamed because of the people,
so she was long face.
기모노 입고 걷는 것도 힘들고
사람도 많고 정신도 없고
너무너무 더워서
Walking in Kimono was hard,
there were lots of people
and the weather was soooooo hot.
(of course the costume made us even hotter)
친구도 기다릴 겸
근처 카페에 들어갔어요.
We dropped by a cafe waiting for my friend and her family.
한국은 공공장소에선 죄다 금연이라
카페에서 담배 냄새 맡을 일이 없었는데
Public places in Korea are no smoking zones
일본은 담배에 관대한 편이라
but Japan is generous for smoking.
카페 안에서도 담배 피는 사람이 많아
결국 오래 있지 못하고 나왔어요.
So we got out of the cafe to avoid the smoking.
드디어 친구네 가족을 만났어요.
인사도 나누고 친구가 사진도 찍어줬어요.
We finally met my friend and her family.
She took our picture.
고은이가 점점 더 힘든지 표정이 너무 안좋아지고 있었어요.
Goeun frowned more.
하필 이 날이 제일 더운 날이었어요.
34도가 넘는 날이었죠.
Because it was the hottest day.
The temperature was more than 34℃.
민소매에 반바지 입어도 더운 날씨를
길고 두꺼운 기모노를 입고 햇볕을 쬐니
힘들 수 밖에요.
It must be hard even in the short
but we were in the thick kimono.
It was totally natural that we were hard.
결국 큰일 날 것 같아
옷을 갈아입고 움직이기로 했어요.
Finally, I decided to put off the costume
before something bad would happen.
다시 옷 대여한 곳의 엘리베이터 안이에요.
We were in the elevator which was in the costume shop.
뒷머리도 정말 정교하죠?
물론 가발을 사용하기도 했는데
기모노 체험은 굉장히 독특한 경험이었어요.
Even if it was soooo hard,
wearing Kimono was very special experience for us.
더워서 아쉬울 따름이었죠.
I was sorry for the weather.
이제서야 고은이가 표정이 풀리기 시작했어요.
친구네 가족이 이끄는 대로 가서
어떤 식당인지는 모르겠어요.
이곳에서 점심을 먹기로 했죠.
고은이는 키즈밀을 골랐어요.
Near Asakusa, we had lunch.
It was Goeun's kid-meal.
이 날 하필 아사쿠사에서
삼바 퍼레이드가 있었어요.
On that day,
there was Samba parade on the street.
인파에 떠밀려
행여나 고은이 손을 놓칠까봐 걱정돼더라고요.
Because of the wave of people,
I was very nervous not to miss my daughter's hand.
아사쿠사에서 걸어서 스카이트리에 갔어요.
We walked to Skytree.
짜잔~
스카이트리예요.
Tada~
It's Skytree.
올라가볼까 했는데
이미 지칠대로 지쳤고
친구 가족과 함께여서
그냥 같이 카페에 들어가기로 했어요.
We didn't go up there,
we went into the cafe.
스카이트리에 있는 캐릭터 카페에 들어갔어요.
It was the character cafe.
아이스크림을 주문했더니
이런 요괴워치가 프린트된 젤리가 얹어진
아이스크림이 나왔어요.
I ordered an icecream,
and they gave me an icecream topped with some character-printed jelly.
그런데 가격이 사악해요. ㅎ
The price was not that friendly though. haha.
고은이가 편한 옷에
이젠 제 친구 가족들도 조금 익숙해지고
맛있는 아이스크림까지 먹으니
이제야 웃기 시작했어요.
Gradually,
Goeun got smile back.
스카이트리에 있는 상점에 들어와서
구경도 하고 간단하게 쇼핑도 했어요.
친구네 꼬맹이들이랑 같이 뭘 구경하기에
사진 찍어봤어요.
We bought some souvenirs in the store.
I took a picture of the girls.
They are so cute.
The left-side girl is Goeun,
the middle one is the older girl of my friend,
the right-side one is the baby of my friend.
스카이트리에 있는 해산물 레스토랑에서
저녁을 먹고 지하철 타러 가는 길이에요.
불이 켜진 스카이트리도 멋지네요.
We had a seafood dinner in Skytree.
숙소로 돌아와서
친구가 선물로 준 꾸러미를 열어봤더니
뭔가 다양한 것이 있었어요.
My friend gave us present.
After coming back to the hotel,
I opened the goody bag.
호빵맨 컵라면, 립밤, 후리가케와 카레,
그리고 모기 퇴치제였어요.
There were some cup noodles for kids, lip-balm,
sauces for rice and mosquito repellent.
잘 먹였고 또 유용하게 잘 쓰고 있어요.
Goeun enjoyed eating them and we have used lip-balm and repellent well.
이렇게 또 둘째날이 끝이 났어요.
정말 이 날이 제일 힘들었던 날 같았어요.
So, it was our second day in Tokyo.
Frankly speaking, it was the toughest day.
다음 날은 친구네 가족과 디즈니씨에 가기로 했어요.
On the next day, We were going to go to Disney Sea
with my friend and her family.
디즈니씨도 입장이 이른 시간이라
일찍부터 호텔을 나서야 해요.
We would have to go there early.
디즈니씨에선 다리가 아파 고생하기도 했지만
고은이에겐 일본에서 가장 좋았던 기억으로
남아있는 것 같아요.
In Disney Sea,
because we had to walk and stand for a long time,
Goeun complained of her leg-ache.
But she has a very good memory on that day.
그럼, 내일은 디즈니씨 방문기를 가지고 올게요.
