03. October. 2017 Mayhills Resort in Jungseon, Gangwon-do
On this day,
My family and I including my parents-in-law
went hiking on the mountain Seorak.
After coming down the mountain,
we headed for Mayhills resort located in Jungseon.
In fact, we arrived here at evening
so I couldn't take a picture of the building.
This photo was taken on the next day.
I checked in at the lobby.
I had booked two rooms including breakfast

#726 room was for my family and me.
It is Ondol room
which means it doesn't have any bed.
Ondol system is that
a boiler heats up water
and the heated water runs through the tube
installed under the floor in the room.
I wanted the ondol room in case Roeun
who was 10 months old
would fall from a bed.
As you can see in the picture above,
there isn't any bed in the room.
We spread all blankets on the floor
and slept well.
This room in the picture above was for my parents-in-law.
It was a double bed room.
Both rooms were clean and wide
so I was very satisfied with them.
It is a restroom.
There is a shower booth.
I don't remember if there are amenities.
But I guess there weren't any but a soap
because it is not a hotel but a resort.
The blue device in the picture above is a dryer.
The room is like a studio
so it doesn't have any separated room.
It has a simple kitchen in the room.
The kitchen has a mini refrigerator
and an electric cook-top.
Various kinds of dishes are prepared with four pieces.
Even there are 4 drinking glasses for Soju.
Soju is a kind of Korean alcohols.
Its alcohol degree is around 19 degrees.
On the small table,
There are a rice cooker and an electric kettle.
There are two dishes and 4 tea cups.
But we used nothing.
More exactly, we didn't have a chance to use them.

In the lower sink,
there are a frying pan and a pot.
I used a pot to warm up my baby's meal.
In the drawer,
there are also some utensils.
If you have enough time to cook,
you can pick some instant food from the convenience store in this building,
and cook here.
Each room has a built-in closet and a shoe shelf.
On this day,
because we all were so tired and it was dark already
we didn't go any restaurant.
We just ordered, paid and ate some fried chicken and pizza in the room
through delivery service.
The blankets are also clean and dry.
In the show shelf,
there are some tools.
The following day, I took a picture of the front door
on the way to have breakfast.
The aisle is wide and very quiet.
The cafeteria is located in another building though,
both buildings are connected each other
so we didn't have to go out.
I didn't know there is a sauna
and fitness center etc.
This resort is close to High One resort
which has ski slopes, a pool and a casino.
That's why this resort also runs a ski rental shop on the first floor.
I regret not taking many photos of the menus.
Breakfast was also good.
If I visit Jungseon next time,
I'll happily stay there.
